How to Flagme

Flagme is an application designed for saving and sharing flags. A flag is the combination of a GPS location, a name, a description and a picture compiled into one easily accessible and shareable format. Flags are useful for getting directions to designated locations and are easy to share with friends so they can get there too. Flagme is a great application for remembering how to get back to places you've been and saving the locations of hidden gems that you've discovered.

Map Controls

The little person icon on the map represents your current GPS location. Use the plus and minus buttons on the bottom right hand corner of the map to zoom in and out of the map. You can also zoom by pinching. You can rotate the map by using two finger dragging. You can move the map by using single finger dragging. Tap the little person button above the zoom buttons to retarget your current GPS location and recenter the map.

Planting Flags

The first thing you need to learn is how to plant a flag. Use the current location button above the zoom buttons to find yourself on the map. The little person on the map represents your current location in real time and doubles as your "plant flag here button". Tap the little person on the map to plant a flag on your current location. If you would like to plant a flag manually you can use a long touch anywhere on the map to plant a flag at your finger tip. In order to save the flag you need to give it a name or check the quick flag button to autofill and number your flag. You can optionally take a picture of your location and write a description. Flags can be edited and/or deleted at any time.
